Hacienda Xcanatun is a henequen hacienda from the 18th century, which have been transformed into a small and luxurious 18-suite hotel, ran by its owners. Suites and buildings have wide interior spaces, environmental comfort, element simplicity and terraces to maintain contact with nature.
Local flora shares outdoor spaces with original ornamental and fruit species. New corridors and fountains allow for everyday breeze, cooler temperature and peaceful sounds, colors and aromas. Hacienda Xcanatun is an amalgam between historic, traditional and contemporary elements, and will provide you with the most pleasurable resting and relaxing experience in an absolutely enjoyable natural setting.
You will relax immediately upon entering Xcanatun’s luxuriously appointed Master Suites, Suites and Junior Suites. Outdoor jacuzzis in our Suites, hand-carved coral stone bathtubs in two Master Suites, unique d�cor and outstanding attention to detail will make you want to extend your stay.

Restaurants & BarsCasa de Piedra: Combining Caribbean, Yucatecan and International ingredients with French technique, our Kitchen prepares specialties such as Regional Fish Ceviche in Green Tomatillo Sauce, Cream of Poblano Chile with Roquefort Cheese, Grilled Salmon over Creamed Leeks and a Tomatillos-Sesame Seed Sauce, Valladolid “Longaniza” (sausage) Stuffed Onions, Saut�ed Chile-Tamarind Chicken Breast Over Mango and Jicama Salad, and Achiote Marinated Quails on Pilaf Rice. One of our pastry chef’s unique desserts is the perfect way to end a memorable meal.

Hacienda Xcanatun is located in the heart of the Mayan World, 5 minutes away from Merida, city designated as the “American Capital of Culture 2000” and capital of the state of Yucatan, in the southeast of Mexico and about a 25-minute drive from its airport. The city is just 30 minutes away from Cancun by plane, or 3.5 hours by car. Conveniently located only minutes from M�rida, on the road to Progreso; close to main points of interest such as Merida’s Convention Center, archaeological sites and colonial cities and beaches.
