XEL-HA
Xel Ha was once a coastal village that specialized in obtaining conch shells, which were crushed and used as an ingredient for making stucco. There is sufficient evidence there even today to demonstrate this.
Xel Ha has a cenote, which has 5 sweatlodges. Still visible is the red paint, which was painted over all the rocks around the cenote. This is a unique cenote to say the least. You could try to swim in it but watch out for crocodiles.
