Within the self-contained and secure gated community of Puerto Aventuras, you’ll feel free to explore either on foot or by bicycle or maybe golf cart and enjoy all that this little community has to offer.
As you learn your way around the lush tropical setting, you will quickly realize this is not a large city. It is not home to hundreds of restaurants and various eateries, with vendors on every street corner. Puerto Aventuras is very regulated as to what is allowed to happen within its walls, and this is a large part of what makes PA such a special oasis.
Though the number of restaurants is limited in this charming community, does that mean you go without options or variety? Not at all. Here’s what can be found and expected of restaurants within Puerto Aventuras, and just outside the gates.
The majority of restaurants are in the same general location at the heart of the community– clustered around the perimeter of the large dolphin lagoon. So you don’t have to walk far from your vacation home or hotel to dine at any of these spots.

The first question many travelers have is, what is the locals’ favorite spot in town? Latitude 20 would be a popular answer to that question! They provide traditional grilled Caribbean food; no deep frying of anything at all on the menu. There are often events and live musical performances in the evening hours for some chill-out fun times after a hard day on the beach.

Out of the several Italian options in Puerto Aventuras, this is a solid choice. Massimo offers a very extensive menu providing many options for the Italian cuisine lovers out there. Their pizza is also a very nice choice. Sit and relax as you watch the passersby and the dolphins.
Open Tuesday to Sunday 8am – 10pm (Closed Monday)
This is a little restaurant with terrific food. Bring your appetite! They serve all-you- can-eat BBQ short ribs, as well as pulled pork, coconut shrimp, fresh fish, pasta, and delicious desserts. Breakfast is served every day as well. This is possibly the best happy hour on the marina, with super tasty margaritas. The wait staff is great as well, making all of their guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Arguably the best ambiance and atmosphere Puerto Aventuras can be found here. If you’re looking for a romantic evening out and very good food to go along with it, then you’ve found your destination. Pelican Point serves up fresh catches every evening. The owner is there to greet you upon arrival and explain the menu in great detail. In very short order you’ll feel how caring and passionate they are about their restaurant and food. They make a table-side Caesar salad from scratch that is excellent!

This is a great stop for lunch or dinner where you can order up a burger and a brew. It has nice outdoor patio seating as many of these restaurants do. You can sit and watch the dolphins play while you cool off with a refreshing beverage. Maybe the best part of coming to the pub is that you can go right next door to Jessie Gelato for some of the best gelato you’ve ever had!

This is a fantastic little café sitting right on the water. They are known for being super friendly and having great food. Their smoothing are fresh and delicious, and the coffee is excellent as well. Bamboo is a very popular choice for breakfast, omelets, along with delicious baked goods such as banana bread. Stop by for a fresh made sandwich or croissant for lunch, or try the empanadas.

This serves up probably the best pizza inside of Puerto! It’s a great little brick-oven pizza place where you can either dine in or carry out (they do offer delivery as well). The pizza has a New York style taste and is very well priced. They also are quick with service, delivery or otherwise.

This is just amazing and delicious gelato! The owner is typically always there and is super friendly and helpful. The prices are extremely reasonable for such deliciousness. It is just a must as you make your way through the shops and sights of Puerto Aventuras.
These restaurants are noteworthy and are located just outside of the entrance gate, on the highway.

When in Mexico you have to eat some tacos! This is the place to find them in PA. Paco Taco is a great place to hit on your way in or out of the community. The food is fresh and fast. Try the coconut shrimp tacos or fish tacos. You won’t be disappointed with the taste or the price!

Here you can order pizza by the slice or order and have it delivered to you. They also offer delicious ribs and wings at very good prices. The staff is super welcoming and are happy to accommodate any orders. If you’re a pizza lover, you’ll want to try this one out for sure.
