Blue Kay Beach Club is the perfect option for those looking to camp or share a dorm room in Mahahual. As the name suggests, it is set right on the beach and has a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Pick from dorm rooms with bunk beds or camping under the shade of palm trees.

Maya Village – Xcalak

Just across the bridge on the road north from Xcalak you will find Maya Village, a beautiful campground overlooking the water, with outdoor bathrooms and showers. The place is seriously relaxed with some fun nights around the campfire eating smoked chicken or listening to bongos arranged for the campers.

This modern and conveniently located hotel is one of the best in its price range in Chetumal. Rooms are ample and comfortable with modern amenities and nice bathrooms. There is a small pool and wi-fi in the rooms and just a few steps from the hotel are lots of bars and restaurants.

Matan Ka’an Hotel- Mahahual

Located in the center of Mahahual just one block from the beach, this pretty hotel has a laidback feel with plenty of space to relax and unwind.
