This gorgeous Adults Only (sorry, parents) All-Inclusive, is the top rated hotel on Trip Advisor and is a fantastic option for your stay. It is quite unique for an All-Inclusive Resort because of its size: it is only a 35 room hotel. It’s almost like a boutique hotel in size but boasts so many amazing amenities. The restaurant and bar serve delicious food as well as cocktails. With the resort having its own private dock on the lagoon, you can stay busy with water sports or sunset cruises–whatever fits your fancy.
PALACE RESORT
This beautiful spot, like Zoetry Villa Rolandi, is a couples-only resort that lies on the quiet, romantic side of the island. Needless to say, this would be an excellent option for honeymooners or anniversaries alike! When staying at Palace Resort, they offer to start your trip off right with their unique, complimentary transportation service. Can you guess what it is? Their own private catamaran, which can accommodate up to 9 people with luggage, will bring you from the mainland to the island. Once you arrive, you’ll check in to one of the resort’s 62 rooms. The hotel has high-end beverages served at their one restaurant, which has a rotating menu daily, and their various bars.MIA REEF
This scenic resorts sits on the secluded northern tip of the island, kind of on its own island! Arguably the most beautiful and prime piece of property on all of Isla Mujeres, it’s connected to Playa Norte [North Beach], by a wooden bridge, with views of the stunning blue water from every direction. This resort has recently had some upgrades and a fair bit of renovations. Mia Reef offers both All-Inclusive packages as well as a “pay-as-you-go” option. With 129 rooms, it is one of the larger hotels on the island, with 3 restaurants. They also have villas that are available that sit right out on the water on the very tip of the island. This is an absolutely spectacular choice.PRIVILEGE ALUXES
This is also one of the larger resorts on the island, but still quite small in comparison to anything in Cancun. Here you also have the option of going all-inclusive or pay-as-you-go. Privilege Aluxes boasts one of the best stretches of beach for just about any resort or hotel on the island (although that isn’t saying a whole lot because most of the beaches on Isla are fantastic)! There is a nice restaurant and beach club for you and the family to enjoy.BOUTIQUE HOTELS
CASA DE LOS SUEÑOS
This is probably one of the better recommendations for families with children. Here you can enjoy stunning views, loads of activities and delicious food and drink at your fingertips. You will get fantastic service at this charming little boutique hotel and want to return as soon as possible.
TIP: It is located at the southern end of the island–which affords you more privacy. You will have to rent a cab or another great option is to rent a golf cart upon your arrival.
BAHAI CHAC CHI
This hotel was built in 2009 so is fairly new and boasts a nice contemporary style throughout its 25 rooms. It has an excellent location–just one block south of the ferry terminal and very close to the popular Playa Norte (the best beach on the island). You can choose from rooms with an ocean view or go the cheaper route with rooms that have a pool view. There is a simple breakfast included with a nice bar as well for your refreshment needs.VACATION CONDOS
NAUTIBEACH CONDOS
These are a group of privately-owned condos that sit right on the corner of Playa Norte. Nautibeach is a fantastic option for those traveling with children. At the condos there is a wide variety of toys and inflatables for the children to play with in the pool, or at the beach. The water here is calm and crystal clear for the youngsters to play in safely. It stays shallow for a long time! The restaurant is under new management and serves up some delicious grub.ISLA 33 VILLAS
Isla 33 isn’t necessarily condos per se, but a combination of private villas with resort amenities. You can rent a studio layout or 2, 3, or 4 bedroom villa. Each has a rooftop infinity pool and there are also 2 ground-floor shared pools.TIP: It sits right on the street, which you will have to cross in order to get to the beach, but has some incredible views.

MARINA PARAISO HOTEL
This is a neat hotel to mention especially for the many sailors, divers and fisherman that venture to the island. It has 20 rooms as well as 4 junior suites and 42 wet slips for those who have a boat and are passing through. This is not only a marina though, it is also a dive hotel. You can walk right down to the dock and jump on their own private dive boats and enjoy world-class diving or even take lessons and get certified by Paradise divers (the on-site dive shop).There are so many options all around the island for couples and families alike to enjoy. It seems that most people who make their way to the island always want to return year after year.
