DreamWorks Theme Park Riviera Maya

Travelers can start gearing up for a visit to DreamWorks Theme Park to be built north of Playa del Carmen soon. The planning started in 2014 and has received approval for construction. The 25 acre (10 hectare) project is estimated to cost at least $800 million to construct and generate around 2,000 jobs.

Visitors will be thrilled with more than 30 highly popular attractions, multiple hotels, shopping, restaurants, and more.  This mega project is estimated to bring in millions of visitors annually.

The theme park will be similar to the DreamWorks New York theme park having characters like Madagascar, Shrek, Puss n Boots, Shark Tale, and Kung Fu Panda.
